Study on Time-Dependent GES Assignment Method for Non-GSO Satellite Systems

摘要

This paper proposes a time-dependent gateway earth station (GES) assignment method for a user terminal in non-geostationary orbiting satellite systems. Time-dependent nature of the GES service area is first discussed for an example intermediate circular orbiting satellite system. Then, time-dependent GES assignment methods are proposed. Finally the advantage of the proposed methods is shown by several calculation results.
