Logo or text moulded in plastic portions of food products

In the field of industrial production of food and drink packages, certain packages comprise parts or portions made using plastic materials or other materials that can be formed through injection moulding using moulding tools. A solution that can be used to customize the packages is to introduce in the moulding tools grooves and/or projections that can modify the shape of the moulded portions at specific regions. The grooves and/or projections may represent a costumer's brand name, product name or logo. This way, the final products can exhibit an etching thereon that is complementary to the grooves and/or projections of the moulding parts. Plaques comprising the grooves and/or projections can be removably couplable to the moulding tools, e.g. by means of screws positioned under the tool itself. Accordingly, the moulding tools can be easily customized. To handle several package volumes, a height adjustment of the components may be present.
