The in-flight entertainment system materia fees in a mobile application that displays Earth imagery based on the position and orientation of the device on which it runs. The application is expected to be used by passengers during flights, allowing them to look at the Earth below them regard ten or the phytic s< Airplane windows and current weather. The displayed imagery to constantly synchronized with both the positon and orientation of the device: as the airplane moves and as the passenger changes the orientation of the device, the displayed image is updated.
