摘要

Bisoctyltriazole (CAS no. 103S97-45-1, Ultraviolet Absorber UV-360, UVA-360) is typically largely used in plastic industry in high temperature processing polymers like polycarbonates (PC), polyesters (PET, PBT), polyamides (PA66) and Polyphenyl-ether (PPE) blends due to its high molecular weight that contribute to the low volatility during processing. It's also appreciated for its high compatibility with techno-polymers assuring long fasting performances. We discovered additionally its high compatibility and persistence in Polyolefins matrixes like LD/LLDPE or HDPE or PP films or also in thick items and particularly in agriculture applications where the persistency into the polymer matrix and the pesticide resistance significantly overperform the usual formula based on standard UV-Absorbers benzotriazoles and benzophenone used in Polyolefins.
