摘要

It was found that potassium fluoride-poly (hydrogen fluoride) salts are useful fluorinating agents for ring- opening of epoxides and halofluorination of alkenes. The epoxides substituted with phenyl group react with potassium dihydrogen trifluoride to give corresponding fluorohydrins regio-and stereo-selectively. This reaction proceeded in such manner as the cis-addition of HF to the epoxide. The alkenes react with potassium tetrahydrogen pentafluoride and N-halosuccinimides or 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin to give corre- sponding halofluoro-compounds regio-and stereo-selectively. This reaction proceeded in such manner as the trans-addition of XF to the alkene.
