Computer simulation of surface modification of materials by ion beams

SASAMAL and dynamic-SASAMAL, a Monte carlo simulation code based on the binary collision approximation, are described. The codes are used for the study of interaction of incident ions and target atoms for the implantation of H, He, N, Si, Ar, Au ions, etc., into an amorphous target with an energy of keV to MeV.
