SSJ100 passes HIRF testing

The sukhoi superjet 100 has successfully completed the type's high-intensity radiated field (HIRF) testing programme, with preliminary results showing that the aircraft meets all HIRF certification requirements. The SSJ100 is the first Russian aircraft to accomplish the full scope of a HIRF certification testing programme. Its methodology for the programme was designed by the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company engineering team in collaboration with Alenia Aeronautica, with the further approval of the Interstate Aviation Committee Aviation Register and the European Aviation Safety Agency.
