This large book published by the Antique Collectors' Club comprehensively documents some of finest examples of domestic English oak furniture from the sixteenth century when the first records of domestic furniture began appearing, to the late seventeenth century when there was a marked change in design.rnThe author has a long and established career in the oak furniture antiques trade as both a private consultant and dealer.
