This volume, on the Reformation and Counter-Reformation, is number 100 in the Religions, Philosophies, and Movements series of historical dictionaries. How many hundreds across all the series are we into now I wonder? Of the many volumes I have reviewed over the years, all compilers pay tribute to the encouragement given by the series' editor, Tan Woronoff.
