I was very impressed with the completeness and extreme ease of assembly of this bright and colorful new model. Putting it together was a snap and so were the flight characteristics. Out of the box, the AeroBird is set up to give mild control response. As you gain flight experience, you can easily move the control line to an inner control horn hole for more responsiveness. Anyone comfortable with flying a Firebird or other entry-level airplane will be right at home flying the AeroBird - and you'll appreciate the added responsiveness of the elevator channel. With the included 7.2-volt, 900-mAh NiMH rechargeable battery, flight times are typically in the 12-to-15 minute range. Longer times can be expected when a thermal comes along. Climb performance is excellent with 100-foot climbs in under 30-seconds. Attach the included 30-foot chrome Mylar streamers to each wingtip for even more color and excitement. Overall, I rate the AeroBird as "Two-Thumbs Up!"
