Hello Hastings

1888-BUILT HUNSLET 0-6-0ST Hastings worked its second train since the early 1960s on September 18, as part of its running-in trials at the Chasewater Railway. Withdrawn from Sproxton ironstone quarries in 1963, it went to the Kent & East Sussex Railway, where it is believed to have operated once before being dismantled for restoration - a process that took over 50 years and a variety of owners.
