EMR receives its first Class 360s

WITH EAST Midlands Railway currently expected to introduce its delayed electric services to Wellingborough and Corby from next May, the operator finally received its first Class 360s in early November. In a trio of moves between November 10-12, 2020 GB Railfreight provided 50007 and 50049 to haul 360120, 360103 and lastly 360121 from Ilford to Cricklewood, from where EMR will be able to commence staff training on the class and test running of a 12-car formation under the new electrification. They were joined by 360104, 360113 and 360116 on November 17.
