Ex-HNRC Class 20s head to Scotland

THREE CLASS 20s that were withdrawn many years ago have been bought from Harry Needle Railroad Company and have been moved to Scotland for restoration. Two (20081/088) have been transported north by road to the Caledonian Railway at Brechin. They were initially recovered from Long Marston on September 25 and taken to Wishaw prior to their move to Scotland, with 20088 the first to head north on October 6. 20081 followed a week later but 20016 remains at Wishaw. It is hoped to resurrect two, maybe all three, but it will be a long and expensive job to revive even the lucky pair as the three have been stood down since 1991 (20088), 1993 (20081) and 1995 (20016).
