Vivarail moves home VIVARAIL IS moving its primary manufacturing base from the Quinton Rail Technology Centre at Long Marston to Southam, near Leamington Spa. The reason given by the firm is its growing order book and the development of a full suite of emission-free trains. It has also acquired the use of a
new IVi-mile test track at Barry in south Wales following the signing of an agreement with Cambrian Transport. Its Centre of Excellence at Seaham in County Durham will focus on component overhaul and manufacture of systems and sub-systems, with an emphasis on bogies and wiring.
