As only five refurbished Class 442 EMUs were available for the revised London-Gatwick-Brighton services in December, Southern has transfered some Class 377s to cover and has retained some of the Class 319s which were due to move to First Capital Connect.rnAt the December timetable change only refurbished 442412/414/417/421 /424 were available for service, although Southern also had unrefurbished 442405/413. At Wolverton Works undergoing refurbishment are 442401/403/404/406/408/410/ 411/418.
