German 111 retired to Koblenz museum

The original DB 111 loco, 111.001 was withdrawn . from service on March 2 and is now at the DB museum at Koblenz Liitzel. The Krauss-Maffei-built loco entered service on May 17 1975 and spent all its life based in Bavaria. Apart from 111.109, withdrawn after major accident damage in August 1981 in Austria, this is the first 111 withdrawn.
