Railway Atlas of Ireland - then and now

If you like Irish railways then this is a must. It features maps of the country depicting all lines that were open as of January 11920 and then on the opposite page is the network as it was on January 12014 so making for a great comparison. The 1920s maps are reproductions of hand drawn maps of the era while the modem maps show which lines are open and which have been closed or mothballed. There are also OS 25in to one-mile maps of key junctions from 1941 plus information in panels about the different railway companies. There are also images of some of the railway steam ships that plied the waters between Ireland and Wales plus images of locos from the days of steam.
