WSR mulls second Scotsman visit

The West Somerset Railway is considering a week-long visit by 60103 Flying Scotsman in June 2017. It is one of a number of railways that have bid to hire the National Railway Museum loco, and it's waiting to hear whether it has been successful. Flying Scotsman is already confirmed to visit the line with a railtour between 23-26 May. It adds: "With the potential for a specific visit to the WSR in June, we are reviewing our position on lineside passes in relation to the ability to ensure safety."
