RTA hosts 2000 meeting in Asheville

Almost 300 railroaders and people from all aspects of the railroad crosstie industry gathered at the Grove Park Inn, Asheville, N.C., November 1-3, to pick up new information and share varying perspectives on the crosstie market at the 2000 Annual Meeting of the Railway Tie Association. Following Wednesday's Golf Tournament and President's Reception, the attendees got down to business Thursday with the first business session and interactive focus sessions.
