NRC attends Railroad Day on the Hill 2003

In late February 2003, The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association Board members held their quarterly meeting and attended the annual Railroad Day on the Hill. The latter event enabled the rail industry to present its legislative agenda for the 108th Congress. Railroad executives, union representatives, contractors and suppliers participated, throughout the course of the day, in Congressional meetings on Capitol Hill. More than 200 office visits were scheduled, which is a record num-ber compared to that of previous years.
