RTA in New Orleans

The Railway Tie Association brought together several hundred railroad and supply-side people for its 88th Annual Conference, October 17-20, 2006, at the Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The city was a little the worse for wear following Hurricane Katrina's disastrous visit in August 2005, but the city's centuries-old tradition of hospitality served the conference very well.
