I was very pleased to see so many members of the railroad community coming together for this year's annual Railroad Day on Capitol Hill. This has become an event that is vitally important to the railroad industry, and this year was no exception. NRC, ASLRRA, AAR, REMSA, RSI and RTA members, in addition to our friends at the unions, all responded in force and turnout this year and smashed all previous records. There is no doubt that our message of federal investment in rail infrastructure through tax credits and no re-regulation of the rail industry is being heard loud and clear in Congress.
