NRC Conference sets records

The 2007 NRC Conference and NRC/REMSA Exhibition took place Thursday, January 4, through Sunday, January 7, 2007, at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Fla. There was record attendance in the general sessions, record attendance in the exhibit halls, record attendance at the banquet dinner and a lineup of top speakers. Attendees, included more than 500 railroaders, railroad contractors and suppliers. In addition to a full range of NRC activities, many groups took advantage of the NRC gathering to hold their own meetings at the Florida site. Among these groups were FEC, Railway Equipment Co., ASLRRA, Railway Tie Association, RAILCET and AREMA, which staged its In-troduction to Practical Railway Engineering Seminar.
