In the December 2010 issue of RT&S, I indi cated that I would have the pleasure of addressing the National Railroad Construc tion and Maintenance Association Annual Conference and provide some observations on the event. I -was able to address the NRC on January 7, 2011 at the Fort Lauderdale confer ence. I had the opportunity to provide an update on AREMA and information on my employer's (CPR) 2011 engineering capital plan.
