Like Aesop's fabled Ant, we have toiled throughout the spring, summer and fall with construction and maintenance programs as we prepare for the future. Ties have been replaced, ballast has been re-profiled, bridges inspected, repaired and replaced, new tracks have been laid, sidings have been extended, turnouts and control points have been commissioned, Positive Train Control has been implemented and safety plans have been submitted. I hope that each of you also have taken some time to live like the Grasshopper with song, dance, recreation, time with family and friends and the many other blessings of our good lives. Now we prepare for our next season.
