Today, TGB in Kassel is the experienced service provider in railway construction and development. The history started in 1922, when the institute for railway standardization, LONA, was just founded 3 years before. First being a central organization of the locomotive manufacturers TGB has developed to an independent engineering company which nowadays is also acting in business fields beyond railway industry, like alternative power trains, cranes and special vehicles as well as plant engineering.
