Liverpool Street Crossrail handover

Liverpool Street's Elizabeth Line station is the fifth to be handed over to Transport for London, as the start of revenue-earning passenger services moves closer. Formal transfer from Crossrail took place in early July. Its two 260-yard platforms are over 35 yards below the surface, with exits at the end ticket halls at Broadgate and Moorgate. An estimated 125,000 people a day are expected to use them.
