Extension of the agreement between Air France and Thalys International A first for international air/rail intermodality

Air France and Thalys International have just taken their cooperation, which started in November 1999, one major step further. Since 25 March, Air France has been chartering Thalys coaches to replace its flights between Brussels and Roissy Charles de Gaulle (Paris airport). This is the first bimodal agreement involving an international link and is a spectacular illustration of how airlines and railways can join forces to their mutual benefit.
