SNCF security policy in the lle-de France region

Insecurity is one of the main concerns of the population in the Greater Paris area. Anti-social behaviour poisons the daily life of people living in the region and the rise in violence dangerously disrupts social ties. Insecurity affects all of the sectors whose task it is to ensure a smoothly functioning society, namely schools, postal services, the police, emergency relief services, transport, etc. SNCF carries over 2 million passengers in the Ile-de-France region and it too is affected by the acts which are partly responsible for the feeling of insecurity experienced by its customers.
