Record growth at First GBRf

A sudden increase in the number of freight, engineering and mail trains operated by First GBRf saw the total number of trips set a new record of 1 089 during the four weeks of Period 9 from November 11 to December 8. This was a remarkable 33% higher than P8, and nearly 28% more than the previous four-week record of 854 trains operated during P7.
