When the Commons Transport Committee took evidence from the railfreight industry on November 25 as part of its inquiry into priorities for rail investment, John Leech MP asked the witnesses whether they had been in discussions with DfT's planning agency High Speed 2 Ltd.rnDB Schenker Rail (UK) Ltd Planning Director Graham Smith said there had been formal consultation on two occasions, plus bilateral meetings with HS2 Ltd Chief Executive Alison Munro, Chief Engineer Andrew McNaughton and their support team.
