DfT has now asked the TOC to provide firm proposals for the new fleet.rn2. Final assembly of the first Class 380 Siemens Desiro EMU for ScotRail has begun, with the unit due to start running on the Wildenrath test track in November. The Class 380 incorporates a number of features of the new Desiro City (p6).
