Network Rail announced on February 10 that First Great Western services between Worcester and Oxford on the Cotswold Line will be suspended from July 18 to August 31, allowing two single-track sections totalling 20 miles between Evesham and Charlbury to be prepared for a second track to be laid on the existing formation.rnBetween July 18 and August 2, and from August 24 to 31, the entire Cotswold Line will be blocked. However, from August 2 to 23 only the Evesham - Moreton-in-Marsh section will close, allowing trains to operate from Worcester to Evesham and Oxford to Moreton.
