Train punctuality fell further in the last full period before the December 14 timetable change, reports Tony Miles. During Period 9 from November 9 to December 6, the average actual PPM score was down at 85.7% from 87.6% in P7, against a DfT Rail target of 87.2%.rnThese results also brought the national MAA score down to 90.6%, having stood at 91.7% just two periods earlier. However, this figure is fractionally ahead of the DfT Rail target of 90.5%.
