Network Rail consults on ECML for 2016

Network Rail has begun consultation on updating its Route Utilisation Strategy for the East Coast Main Line, published in April 2008. With the industry's plans and aspirations having 'matured' since then, NR says that the new study focuses on the capacity of the ECML in 2016 and aspirations for additional train paths.
