Crossrail Ltd announced last month the shortlisted bidders (right) who will be invited to tender for the four remaining contracts to build stations on the central London core. The combined value of these four main construction contracts 'is in the region of nearly £lbn', according to Crossrail. 'We are now in a position to confirm the shortlist for Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel stations', said Crossrail Programme Director Andy Mitchell. 'This means that we have now confirmed the shortlists for all central London stations as Paddington and Far-ringdon stations were announced earlier this year'.
