Modular signalling pilots now operational

lnvensys Rail is currently running its pilot modular signalling scheme for Network Rail between Crewe and Shrewsbury in shadow mode. It is expected to be commissioned and take over control of the route during December. This will see mechanical signalboxes closed and the control of level crossings transferred to the control centre at Cardiff.
