Crossrail Custom House shortlist

On February 23 Crossrail Ltd announced the shortlist (below) for contract C520, worth around £35m and covering the construction of the only surface station on the central core at Custom House. Contract award is expected later this year, with construction commencing early in 2013 for completion in 2018.The station will be built on the site of Custom House station on NR's North London Line, which closed south of Stratford in December 2006. There will be direct interchange with the DLR station at Custom House.
