NR forms transparency panel

November 21 saw the first meeting of Network Rail's Transparency Challenge Panel. The panel meets twice a year, its members (p8) drawn from the rail industry and the wider business community, also including 'experts in transparency'. Proposed terms of reference include a remit to challenge NR's transparency plans and its progress in delivering them. The panel would also improve links between NR's transparency programme and related initiatives elsewhere, 'identify and share best practice in transparency', and help NR to 'identify and track key transparency benefits and success factors'.
