Procurement starts for Caledonian Sleeper franchise

Transport Scotland issued the OJEU notice seeking expressions of interest in the new Caledonian Sleeper franchise on April 4. It is expected that the ITT will be issued in September, with the successful bidder announced in June 2014. The franchise will start in April 2015. According to Transport Scotland, the maximum length will be 15 years.
