Network Rail reports that the national average PPM score for Period 1 of 2014-15, also the first of Control Period 5, was 92·7%. This was down from 93% in P1 2013-14, with national MAA PPM standing at 89·9% at the end of PI this year. MAA delay attribution figures saw NR responsible for 62% of delays at the end of PI 2014-15. The TOC-on-self figure was 26%, while TOC-on-TOC delays accounted for 12% of the total. Additional information now being released by NR shows that in P1 70·4% of services achieved the more stringent right-time measure, taking the MAA to 66·1%.
