TfL announced on June 29 that it had shortlisted four bidders (right) for the concession to operate London Overground services from November 2016. TfL intends to issue 'all tender documentation' by the end of July, 'which will signify the start of the three-month tender period with bid submissions expected by mid-October'. The shortlist sees Arriva and MTR, equal partners in the incumbent LOROL, bidding separately for the new concession. Keolis (UK) Ltd and Go-Ahead Holding Ltd are bidding in the new joint venture LoKeGo, of which Xeolis holds 51% and Go-Ahead 49%. Keolis says that the new joint venture will draw on its experience 'of operating transport systems in high-density urban areas' in the UK and elsewhere.
