TfL announced on November 17 the completion of its £300m programme to upgrade Bond Street station, where capacity has been increased by 30%. Work has included the construction of a new entrance and ticket hall on the north side of Oxford Street, equipped with four lifts to provide step-free access at this station for the first time.
