DLR bogie repair programme

A paper presented to the TfL board's Programmes £t Investment Committee on March 8, requesting authority to procure new Docklands Light Railway fleet (above), revealed that the current fleet of Bombardier B90/B92 vehicles which entered service between 1990 and 1992 have reached the end of their 25-year design life. This is confirmed by the appearance of a number of age-related issues.
