摘要

The authors describe new methods for evaluating the effect of terrain relief on radio wave propagation in the near-earth layer when the location of radioelectronic facilities is known with the accuracy of their position site. The methods are based on a statistically determinate approach to defining the multiplier of additional attenuation of radio waves around the positions. An analytical expression is derived establishing the relation between the relief coefficient (roughness) of land surface and indices characterizing the shielding properties of the relief along the paths of radio wave propagation.
