This month, as well as looking around the bands for interesting stations, Chris Brand has been tuning into several stations carrying news about the events in Georgia. First out of the mailbag this month is Robert Shacklock from Westwood, Nottinghamshire. Robert has recently returned to the hobby and he is reintroducing himself- he was a regular contributor to Short Wave Magazine ten years ago. "Since then studying and other matters meant that DXing took a back seat. This said, I am back into the hobby again after letting my kit gather dust under the bed for around seven years.
