1. From the mid-to-late 2010s there has been renewed interest in the radar line, resulting from recent upgrades, such as the introduction of GaN components, and the launch of the smaller-scale TPS-77 MRR 2. Militaries that do not require the full capabilities of the standard TPS-77 could be drawn to the TPS-77 MRR 3. Other than the TPS-77 for Malaysia projected for 2022, the production forecast is speculative, but a small market for these radars is expected to endure.
