The pull-out plan of Goldie was published in RCMW (November 2004) as a light, golden-era style, semi-scale model for .25 to .40 cu. in. engines and I have had many correspondents telling me how much they enjoyed both its construction and subsequent flight characteristics. It has surprised me that it appealed to so many people worldwide and I have received queries, suggestions and praise from Australia, Canada, The States, South Africa and of course from this country to name just a few. A lot of questions were on the subject of 'electrification' and one Swedish friend, Bert Jansson, took the bull by the horns and did just that. Bert is a superb modeller, well known in his country for outstanding attention to detail on his scale craft and who, I am proud to say, has successfully built and flown several of my published designs, to his great satisfaction.
