I'd be the first to confess to having had an unquenchable enthusiasm for the art of aerobatics for well over thirty years. So the opportunity to review one of the latest aerobatic offerings from The World Models' range was just too good to miss! The Groovy 50 3A is based around the popular .50-size of model. The 3A bit alludes to the F3A (pattern) aerobatic class of model. Initial Impressions Being an ARTF kit, all the main components are pre-covered with film and attractively trim finished. Closer inspection revealed both construction and covering were to a very acceptable standard. Deeper in the box uncovered a superb colour-matched glassed cowl, along with a transparent dummy version to assist with locating the various cut-outs during the engine installation. There was also a pair of glassed wheel spats and metal main landing gear which had been machined to an aerofoil section and then polished. Numerous packets containing a very comprehensive hardware selection which covered everything required to complete the model, engine and radio equipment excepted.
