In this the last of the F4C scale manoeuvres we look at the overall flight and how to improve it, plus a report from the Traplet Unlimited at Pontefract, a problem arises with finishing touches to the Aeronca, and more about the clipped wing Piper Cub plan... After the big improvement in the weather for the Skelmersdale Traplet competition we were looking forward to conditions that might be as good or even better the following Sunday the 14th of May at Pontefract. This was not to be and we had to put up with a cold wind that fortunately was light. The forecast had been quite poor and this obviously affected the competitor numbers. Nine models flew with visitors from the east coast and a healthy contingent from the Skerlmersdale club.
